RIDING ACADEMY LESSONS

We offer a select number of riding lesson spots each semester. Our program promotes a calm, supportive environment while emphasizing safety, horsemanship and empathy for the horse.

We believe that working consistently with the same coach and horse helps students build confidence, develop meaningful connections and fully enjoy their journey into the incredible world of horses.

Whether you want to explore the Southlands community on horseback for enjoyment or work towards competing one day, we will tailor a program to suit your individual goals and help you achieve them.

Academy Lessons

Monday, September 7 – Sunday, December 13, 2026

Autumn session runs across 14 calendar weeks and includes 13 lessons. There will be no lessons from Friday, October 9 through Tuesday, October 13. If your regularly scheduled lesson falls within this break, a make-up lesson will be offered.

What’s Included

  • A horse lease for all lessons

  • 13 one-hour private sessions

  • Each session is divided between riding and groundwork/horsemanship

  • Progressive instruction designed to develop riding skills, confidence, horse care knowledge and a deeper understanding of the horse

Cancellation Policy

  • One cancelled or rescheduled lesson by the student will be offered per session.

  • The lesson must be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.

  • If Town & Country Equestrian cancels a lesson, a credit, refund or reschedule will be offered.

    Cost: $3,250 + GST
